Finding yourself with a little free time and a burning desire to feel like you’ve done something important with your day?

826LA is in desperate need of drop-in tutors. You have no idea how much a little bit of your time will help someone else’s life, and make you feel pretty good in the process.

I haven’t had a chance to write about my experiences tutoring this year, but I’m very proud of the work 826 does, and I’m extremely excited about the East Side location opening up soon. That’s a lot of adverbs, but I can’t help the effusive praise.
