Pretty As A Picture – An episode with this many townies written by dan Palladino could have been as interesting as watching paint dry. But it clips along at a steady pace and is over before you know it. That doesn’t mean it’s full of exciting adventures. In fact, it’s stuffed with some of the oldest jokes known to comedy, including a “Stevie Wonder is blind” joke. But remember the new rule: pretend you’re not watching a television show, but rather just hanging out with the Gilmore girls, and then it doesn’t feel like such a rip-off. Yes, this is what we’re forced to do in order to love this show we want to love so much. Shut up and lower your standards! Kirk’s funny!
