Pamie-

On May 25th, a friend of mine, David Koch, disappeared at the top of Canada’s Grouse Mountain. After 10 days of intense search and rescue effort, not one clue has been found. The family is making a plea to anyone who may have been vacationing there that same day. A post from the www.finddave.net website reads:

There were about 3,000 people on the mountain that day, and those people need to be our eyes and ears to help us find him. Many people in this area and from the U.S. were in town during the holiday weekend.

We know that 28 people were in the red tram with David at about 8 p.m. that evening. David has an engaging personality and we know he would have started up conversations along the way or once he got up to the top of the mountain.

We ask that people who were on the mountain that day to review their pictures or videos to see if he appears in the background. Anyone who saw him or talked with him should contact the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police at 604-985-1311

David was wearing a light green shirt from St. Thomas, black nylon athletic pants with two white stripes on each side, tan sandals and carrying or wearing a grey hooded zip-up sweatshirt. He is 36 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Help from the national media is the only way we will be able to reach people who may have seen David on May 25th. If you know of anyone in the media please e-mail kochcentral@yahoo.com or call Chris 262-993-3947

There is a massive effort ongoing on various blogs in hopes of somehow reaching out to someone who may know something, ANYTHING. If you could post this, it would be great. Pamie readers are awesome, and have links to so many others. If the national media isn’t going to cover this, we will get it covered in other ways.

Thanks!
Sandy
