Dear Pamie…

[readermail]
First I would like to apologize in advance for my poor English; it is at best my second language so errors are bound to happen.

You’ve written about Katrina and Tsunami disaster urging people to help and I would be very grateful if you could do the same for the victims of Pakistan, India (Kashmir) earthquake.

It gets much less publicity despite the fact that more than 100,000 people are dead, so many children orphaned by it. The winter is coming and those people don’t even have tents. When there are European, American, Australian citizen that are victims we tend to sympathize more and are seemingly more eager to help. Please help me change that by mentioning this on your blog (the disaster and the aid needed). If you can do it I would be very grateful, if not I would just like to apologize for bothering you.

Wish you well

Ida
