Hey Pam,

My friend Clare and I went down to see him – just because the whole thing is so bizarre. It does get a bit hypnotic, but we did periodically yell out “it’s not magic, idiot!!”. I attached two photos for you.

Clare’s not giving you, the photo viewer, or me, the photo taker, the finger. It’s a David Blaine directed obscene hand gesture.

Also – it’s quite ironic that he’s doing his “forty four days in a box
without food” accross the bridge from the Tower of London where they used to put people in little rooms without food for weeks. And it wasn’t magic then, either.
