Okay, let me explain that although most of my friends read my journal at some point during their work week, they aren’t too heavily involved in the entire thing. One look at the forum and you know that mostly they read without talking back. That’s fine.
In fact, I just found out that my father reads this page every day when he’s at work. Hi, Dad. You should send an email every once in a while. I miss you. Hope you’re feeling well. I love you.
almost out of birthday week
Well, Birthday Week is quickly coming to a close, but I did have a rather fun time at my party this weekend. Since the digital camera is the new toy of the house, people were taking pictures left and right (that is, until the batteries died). They didn’t sign wavers or anything, but I’m pretty sure I told all of them that their pictures would be up. I think I did, anyway. Pretty sure. Yeah. I don’t know. There was lots of wine involved.
It is the perfect weather outside. I’m sitting here in my green sweater and my blue pajama bottoms. Eric is out looking for a new car to buy. Erykah Badu is blasting through my speakers. I got to sleep in this morning. Eric and I had breakfast together, that I made myself and actually turned out good… it’s just one of those good days.
Last night we all got together to play games, which hasn’t happened in a while because the new trend in our circle of friends is to play poker at night, and since I can’t (don’t, won’t, hate) poker I tend to not be there. Plus poker has brought even more people into our circle, so we haven’t had many evenings of just six of us sitting around playing a board game in a while.
