PAMIE
I’m going to be so annoying. I’m sorry.

GIRL
That’s okay. It’s what I’m here for.

PAMIE
I don’t remember the name of the band. And the song is on all the time. I can’t escape it. It’s on the radio, and this digital cable music channel that —

GIRL
Do you know the name of the song?

PAMIE
No. But they sound like Smashing Pumpkins, but there’s maybe a girl lead singer and–

[The girl turns to the guy standing next to her, giving him the raised eyebrow.]

GIRL
You know what she’s talking about?

GIRL

BOY
What’s the cover?

PAMIE
It’s dark, with like, sparkly writing on top.

GIRL
Wow.

PAMIE
I told you I was going to be annoying.

BOY
Dark, with sparkly writing. Let’s see. There’s…Silversun Pickups

PAMIE
That’s it! You did it on the first try!

GIRL
He’s really very good at this.

PAMIE
Yeah, he is.

BOY
And when we get the new Filmore Slipups, I’ll give you a call.

PAMIE
You should. They’re awesome.
