Thanksgiving Eve

I had a dream last night that I was sitting right here, blogging. That’s how I know I need a vacation.

My mom and sister arrive tonight, so the rest of my day will be spent cleaning in a frenzy.

… and recapping Tarzan. I will never escape the workload. But it’s the last recap I have until January, and it’s the last episode of the short-lived series, so I can’t complain.

I am truly looking forward to a few days off. I don’t plan on spending too much time in front of my computer, either.

I’ve been nominated for a Diarist Award. Good luck to Monty and Kandy, my fellow nominees.

Five years ago a certain person thought I was a freak for writing about my life on the Internet. Four years ago he then complained that I didn’t write about him often enough, or make him as funny as he truly was. Three years ago he met a woman through my site, a woman who was a fan of mine, and now a much bigger fan of his. Two years ago I stopped writing this website and he told me he missed it, because he’d love to find out my reaction to his proposal of marriage. Almost one year ago he got hitched to that fancy, pretty lady. And now, finally, he’s got a little cyberplace of his own. How far you’ve come, Chris.

Happy Thanksgiving, for those of you who celebrate it, and happy late November to the rest of you.
